Solecare Podiatry treats a wide range of foot and ankle problems: from routine nail and skin care through to ingrown toenails, heel pain, and orthotic fitting. Our team brings over 46 years of combined clinical experience to every appointment - and we take the time to get it right.Fees are clear and upfront. Standard appointments from $79, ingrown toenail surgery from $290, prefabricated orthotics individually adapted in-clinic from $125. Casted rigid orthotics are available - contact us for current pricing.
We're an independent, locally owned clinic with a straightforward focus: honest advice, practical treatment and care that actually helps.We also stock a focused range of clinically selected footwear - wider fit and everyday active/work footwear; along with foot care accessories. On Mondays and Fridays, a podiatrist is available in our fitting area to help you find the right shoe for your feet and how you use them. There's plenty of roadside and angled parking right outside.*We don't currently offer liquid nitrogen therapy for verrucae or home visits.

About us
Meet the team
Anna and Mark qualified as Podiatrists from the University of Plymouth, UK; both with a Batchelor of Science (Hons) in Podiatry. A hands on degree with a focus on clinical experience and theory, ensuring competent and safe practice. As many podiatrists move away from offering traditional foot care, we pride ourselves in offering a comprehensive service.
Getting you moving again
Podiatrists treat a wide range of foot and lower limb problems - from routine nail and skin care through to ingrowing nails requiring minor corrective surgery. Where load, structure or footwear is part of the picture, we take a joined-up approach: orthotic insoles fabricated to your specific need, footwear selected for how your day actually loads your feet, and targeted strengthening or stretching where appropriate. The goal is always to reduce load, restore function, and keep you moving.
We accept electronic referrals from GP's and other healthcare providers for funded diabetic foot care. If you think you are eligible for funded care, please speak to your doctor or practice nurse in advance of an appointment. Please note that they will only be able to provide a referral if you meet the criteria for diabetic funded care , sadly not all diabetics are eligible for funded podiatry care. If you are transferring from another funded provider, please let us know well in advance of attending.
We are registered with ACC and can provide subsidised treatment for accident recovery (subject to approval) Our team are members of Podiatry New Zealand, the national professional body.

Unlike many unregulated or home-based foot care providers, our clinic is operated by registered podiatrists. We:✅ Use a hospital-grade vacuum autoclave to sterilise all instruments—this and other steps in the process ensures complete elimination of bacteria, fungi, and viruses, meeting AS5369:2023 standards.✅ Maintain a fully equipped, hygienic clinical environment that meets health and safety regulations.✅ Carry full professional indemnity and public liability insurance for your peace of mind.✅ Are GST registered and provide proper receipts and records.
