Changing times
Podiatry and the future
Offering value and giving back
Our philosophy
We aim to offer good value podiatry care to all of our patients, old and new.
As some Podiatrists move away from offering routine foot care, we pride ourselves in offering all aspects of the profession. From trimming toe nails, to callus and corns, we will be there meeting the needs of all Cantabrians.
We work very hard to keep the cost of our services at a reasonable level and less than other providers. To do this we save on overall running costs, but not sacrificing overall quality and standards. For example: only sending free email appointment confirmations and reminders instead of texts that have a cost, not having a receptionist or an expensive building to rent. By watching these small things, it's enabled us to keep fee increases to a minimum and make our service more accessible.
Helping the next generation
As a profession, Podiatry is a vital cog in our nations healthcare needs. However, accroding to a wide reaching government study, we are losing newly qualified practitioners at a concerning rate. From 2025 Solecare Podiatry, will be offering mentorship and practical help for under graduate/ new graduate Podiatrists. We were blessed to receive a first class education, that focused on hands-on skills, we'd like to pass these on to the next generation. Weekend skills sessions with hands on practice of manual podiatry skills.
