Work & Everyday Active Footwear
A small, podiatry-approved range of footwear selected for work and everyday activity. Each shoe is chosen because it performs reliably on its own and also pairs properly with orthotics when needed.
This range is designed for people who spend long hours on their feet and want a dependable, well-fitting shoe — as part of good foot care, without noise, trends, or unnecessary complexity. Available at our Avonhead clinic in Christchurch.
Footwear chosen for long hours on your feet
Our shoes have been selected for people who spend much of the day on their feet at work — healthcare staff, retail workers and non-safety wear industry. Some of the shoes we stock are the same models we wear ourselves in clinic.
Or anyone needing a practical, supportive shoe that holds up over time or long walks.
Matching shoes to your workday
As Podiatrists we group our footwear by how much daily load they’re designed to manage - from long standing shifts to lighter office roles. This helps ensure you’re wearing the right level of structure for your day.
High Load – Long Shifts: More structure, built to cope with prolonged standing and physically demanding work.Structured Comfort – Long Days: Cushioning and rebound with stability for extended hours on your feet.Office / Lower Load: Lighter construction suited to mixed sitting and standing. Each style performs well with the anatomical footbed supplied and also accommodates orthotics when required, making it suitable both for people managing foot issues and those aiming to prevent them. We keep the range small and practical, and we’re happy to guide you toward a suitable option — with no obligation to purchase

Or just for long walks
The designs in this range are selected first as black work shoes — built for long hours, hard floors and demanding days on your feet.
They’re also available in a small range of everyday colours, which makes the same designs a reliable option for walking, errands, or longer casual walks outside of work.
That continuity matters. A shoe that performs well in a demanding work environment often proves just as reliable for everyday use.

Why these shoes
Each shoe in this range has been chosen for how it performs in real use — not just how it looks on a shelf.
As many modern shoes quietly lose internal stiffeners and midfoot structure, we deliberately seek out designs that retain them - because those details are often what determine how a shoe holds up to load over time.
Adaptive fit
Some people will be comfortable wearing these shoes with the anatomical footbed as supplied, while others may pair them with their own orthotic without compromise. If you already wear orthotics and they’re beginning to feel worn or less supportive, we can assess and manufacture new custom devices on site where appropriate.
If you’re unsure, we’re happy to offer a personalised fitting in clinic, with no obligation to purchase - or just pop into the clinic during normal opening hours for a look.
